The Italian Cultural Institute of Lima, in collaboration with the Association Internacional de Ópera Juvenil (AICU), proposes Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata as part of the Festival Internacional de Ópera Juvenil (FIOJ).
The Bicentennial National Youth Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Tazzieri and will perform in Lima’s Teatro Nacional on 3 and 4 August. The opera will be performed by soprano Marta Mari, opera singers Davide Piaggio and Rodolfo Giugliani, and mezzo-soprano Josefina Brivio.
Also taking part will be young opera singers selected from the Opera Studio, with which the Festival began, and the Choir and Chamber Ensemble of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
