To celebrate the 8th edition of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in Sydney are presenting the event “Perle culinarie della Lombardia orientale: un viaggio gourmet” (Culinary Gems of East Lombardy: A Gourmet Expedition).
Scheduled for 15 November, the event will offer guests the chance to discover the traditional wines and food of the eastern provinces of Lombardy (Brescia, Mantua, Cremona and Bergamo).
Two exceptional Lombard chefs, Matteo Zamboni and Eleonora De Marchi, have been invited to prepare the culinary delicacies. They will talk about the art behind their recipes to journalist Roberta Muir, editor and co-author of A Lombardian Cookbook, immersing the audience in a story of flavours and traditions, amid tips and anecdotes.
