The 2023 Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World, held in Ho Chi Minh City, saw the presentation of the book Storia della Cucina Italiana a fumetti (History of Italian Cuisine in comic form), produced by the Academy of Italian Cuisine and proposed for the first time in Vietnamese with a translation by the Consulate General of Ho Chi Minh.
Particularly appreciated by the local public, Storia della cucina italiana a fumetti will contribute, among other things, to increasing knowledge of Italian cuisine in Vietnam and to countering the phenomenon of “Italian sounding”.
The Vietnamese language version of the text, which has been given prominence by the media, is an added value of the Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World in a society where interest in Italian cuisine and culture is constantly growing.
