The Asian tour of the exhibition “MOSAICO. Italian code of a timeless art” starts in Vietnam. As a matter of fact, Hanoi will be the first city in Asia to host the multimedia exhibition dedicated to Italian mosaics, as conceived and realised by Magister Art and promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Embassy in Hanoi.
The exhibition was conceived as a 2000-year-long journey through the images, symbols, techniques and materials of some of the most famous and representative Italian mosaics. Through an immersive multimedia experience, visitors will be able to admire the most striking mosaics of Rome, Pompeii, Aquileia, Ravenna, Palermo/Monreale, Piazza Armerina and Baia along a step-by-step route.
The exhibition will be open from Friday 8 March to Sunday 7 April at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Nguyen Van Huyen, Cau Giay, Hanoi).
