The presentation of the new FIAT model Grande Panda took place in Vienna, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Austria, Giovanni Pugliese, and the top management of Stellantis in Austria. During the event, the Abarth600 model and the new Fiat 500e Armani were also presented, adding to the Stellantis Group’s range of vehicles.
As Ambassador Pugliese recalled, “FIAT is one of the most immediately recognisable symbols of Made in Italy even abroad, and one of the most iconic brands of the “Italian way of life” that is synonymous with high quality of life and is greatly successful all over the world. With their refined design and at the same time practical, compact and manoeuvrable characteristics, FIAT cars have provided generations of drivers in Italy and around the world a smart and classy mobility solution through small cars capable of offering high performance and driving pleasure with smaller sizes, for the benefit of a versatility that knows few competitors.’
The Ambassador added: “‘Made in Italy does not only mean history and tradition, but also innovation and constant research to raise the quality of our supply, with particular attention to environmental sustainability”. Yesterday’s event was in fact also an opportunity to recall the importance of the environmental impact of the automotive sector, in which – thanks to the variety of engines at its disposal – the new FIAT Grande Panda is a ”‘green car” model that can provide an important contribution to decarbonisation.”
