Ambassador Giovanni Pugliese said: “It is a great honour for me to host the presentation of Giorgio Armani’s collection for the first time at Metternich Palace, an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the long-standing and solid tradition of Italian know-how, its identity and its ability to innovate. Since 1975 Giorgio Armani has proudly represented the Italian creativity throughout the world. The presence, this evening, of leading representatives from the world of culture, music and cinema, bears witness to the importance of this initiative and the wide recognition that Italian fashion receives globally, confirming Giorgio Armani’s role as a real ambassador of our Made in Italy.”

The event was a unique opportunity to celebrate Italian fashion and its global impact in Austria, in a sincere tribute to Giorgio Armani and his creative vision, which for 50 years has represented the best of Italian excellence in the world.
