The call for proposals for the allocation of funding for research projects, pursuant to Article 23-bis of Presidential Decree No. 18/1967, is now open.
Research projects may be submitted by public or private entities, associations (including non-recognised associations), or committees which have been engaged for at least three consecutive years in training activities in the field of international affairs or in research on foreign policy matters.
Funding is awarded to projects falling within the “priority thematic areas” defined by Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation No. 2159/390/BIS of 27 May 2026.

The deadline for submission is Tuesday, 30 June 2026 at 12:59 p.m.
On 12 June 2026 at 4:00 p.m., an online information session will be held via videoconference. During the session, the Unit for Analysis and Programming will present the requirements for submitting applications, the application procedure, required documentation, evaluation criteria and reporting obligations.
