This morning, a humanitarian flight of the Italian Cooperation service took off for Tehran from the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) of Brindisi carrying 40 tons of relief supplies and hygiene and sanitary kits donated to the Iranian Red Crescent in response to the Country’s post-flooding emergency. The humanitarian shipment was performed within the framework the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, with the cooperation of the Italian Civil Protection Department.

È partito questa mattina dalla Base di Pronto Intervento Umanitario delle Nazioni Unite (UNHRD) di Brindisi, con destinazione Teheran, il volo umanitario della Cooperazione Italiana con un carico di 40 tonnellate di beni di primo soccorso e kit sanitari donati alla Mezzaluna Rossa iraniana, per rispondere all’emergenza alluvioni nel Paese. La spedizione umanitaria è realizzata nel quadro del Meccanismo di protezione civile della UE e con la collaborazione del Dipartimento della Protezione Civile.
