From 10 to 20 December, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the travelling exhibition “Sfumature di Azzurro” in collaboration with the Italian Football Federation and the Football Museum in Coverciano.
The memorabilia from Coverciano will enable visitors to the temporary exhibition in Rome to retrace the history of the Italian national football team through a century-long journey full of legendary challenges and successes, including the four World Cups – as represented by the stars above the coat of arms on the jerseys – the two European championships and the Olympic gold medal won in Berlin in 1936.
The exhibition will be on view during the visits to the Farnesina Collection organised on the occasion of “open for you” (Friday 13 December) and during the extraordinary opening on Saturday 14 December.
