Diplomacy in the age of Twitter. Speech by Ministro Terzi

Do the social network and new media influence diplomacy? Can they be a credible source for the formation of public opinion on international policy issues? These are some of the concerns that will be the focus of the forum entitled “Diplomacy in the age of Twitter” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the City of Turin, with the collaboration of daily newspaper La Stampa. The event will take place on Thursday 14 June at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Turin.


Senior Advisor for Innovation in the Office of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Alec Ross will introduce the forum, followed by speakers Minister for Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi, Mayor of Turin Piero Fassino, Editor-in-Chief of La Stampa Mario Calabresi and Tunisian blogger Lina Ben Mhenni.
