On Tuesday, 15 March at 11.00 am, the Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting Quality Italian Cuisine abroad will be presented at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Memorandum, whose signatories are the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, Maurizio Martina, and the Minister of Education, Universities and Research, Stefania Giannini, contains a detailed action plan to promote Italy’s haute cuisine and high-quality products.
The initiative falls within the framework of the “Food act” and aims to continue the work of Expo 2015 in Milan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), Unioncamere, and Assocamerestero.
The event will be attended by ambassadors of G20 States, cultural and economic institutes and governmental bodies, as well as some of the most widely known chefs on the Italian and international stage.
