Germany – New Italian expats in Berlin to participate in art debate

Recent Italian immigration to Germany is the topic of the third event scheduled to take place at the Italian Embassy on Feb. 23. Art historian and curator Elena Agudio, art dealer Mario Mazzoli and artist Luca Trevisani, all active participants in Berlin’s contemporary art scene, will debate on “Berlin, Wunderkammer for Italian Art”. Loris Cecchini, artist and founder and president of ‘Peninsula’ non -profit organisation, will moderate the debate. The cycle of events organised by the Italian Embassy aims to promote an exchange of views and sharing of experiences and ideas between young professionals and newly arrived Italians in Berlin. The first event, organised in December 2016, featured three musicians: Claudio Donzelli, Federico Albanese and Andrea Belfi. The second initiative focused on the Italian researchers working in Germany, such as Alessandra Buonanno, Massimo Moraglio, Eleonora Rivalta and Elena Torlai Triglia.
