The European City of Culture for 2012 is the Slovenian city of Maribor. Part of the programme of events is dedicated to “cultural embassies”, with April reserved for Italy.
The Italian month will open at 18.00 on 4 April with an exhibition on “Ottavio Missoni. A genius with colour”, housed in the Vetrinjski dvor Mansion Theatre. The full programme includes a rich offering of exhibitions, book presentations and concerts.
