On Wednesday 23 May at 11.00 Rome’s Complesso di San Michele a Ripa hosted the first edition of the Shanghai Prize, which awards art residencies to emerging young Italian and Chinese artists. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Cultural Institute – Shanghai Section and the Garuzzo Institute for Visual Arts.
