Italy-China: numbers of chinese students enrolling in italian universities shows marked increase

There has been a further marked increase in the numbers of Chinese students enrolling in Italian universities for academic year 2012-13 through the Marco Polo and Turandot programmes. The rise is in line with the trend for recent years.

The Marco Polo programme envisages one semester of Italian language study for foreign students, in our universities or in language schools. This is followed by entry to university courses after the student’s linguistic skills have been verified. The Turandot programme is designed for students wishing to enter specialist arts and music (AFAM) schools and colleges. Each academic year, Italian universities reserve a quota of their places for Chinese students. Read more, in Italian.
