A painting exhibition and two installations – one of photos the other a mural are the summer events organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Sofia.
“Bulgare Visioni”, a exhibit that opened on 20 June at the National Gallery of Foreign Art of paintings by Silvio Formichetti, piqued the attention of the Bulgarian media, as did the innovative photographic installation entitled “Trivignano Dreams” by the artistic duo known as Persisters, made up of sisters Isabella and Tiziana Pers, which opened on 21 June at the Lovers Bridge in the presence of Ambassador Stefano Benazzo. And on 23 June Maddalena Mauri presented the Bulgarian public with her mural installation entitled “Un passato che a volte rende difficile costruire il presente”, at the Water Tower Art Fest, the most important contemporary art festival in Bulgaria.
