YAOUNDE: Italian film “Ainom” wins best foreign film at Cameroon film festival

Cameroon critics applaude Italian cinema: in view of its constructive and realistic treatment of African immigration in Italy, “Ainom”, directed and produced in 2011 by Lorenzo Ceva Valla and Mario Garofano, was awarded the prize for best foreign film of the year at the “Ecrans Noirs” film festival. Italian Ambassador Stefano Pontesilli presented the award at the festival’s closing ceremony in the presence of Minister for Culture Ama Tutu Muna.
