The Italian Embassy in Beijing has opened a visa centre in Ulaan Baatar where Mongolian citizens can obtain information about and apply for visas to enter Italy. The initiative falls within the context of efforts to strengthen relations with Mongolia, with a view to improving services for tourists, students and business persons wishing to visit Italy.
