Italian animated cinema meets its American counterpart during a special evening organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles in collaboration with the Animation Department of the California Art Institute of Los Angeles and Cinema Without Borders magazine. A series of Italian shorts, showing the most recent advances in our production, will be screened along with works by students and graduates of the department, among them Italian animator Carlo Sansonetti. The evening’s prize winners will include animators Cinzia Angelini and Phil Roman
