Improving the public health service in Latin America: that is the goal of the agreement that the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA) and the Bambino Gesù children’s hospital will be signing in Rome on Thursday 13 September 2012. A campaign designed to safeguard and promote children’s health and pediatric medicine, and which is much appreciated by the people of the continent. The agreement will make it possible to multiply the results already achieved by collaboration thus far between the two structures, thanks to new dialogue, exchange and partnership policies. It will be signed by the Chair of Bambino Gesù hospital, Giuseppe Profiti, and by the Secretary General of the IILA, Giorgio Malfatti di Monte Tretto, in the presence of the Secretary for Relations with States at the Holy See, Monsignor Dominique Mamberti, and Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi.
