The jury of the 28th Alexandria Mediterranean Countries Film Festival chaired by Spanish filmmaker Angeles Gonzales Sinde awarded director Fabrizio Cattani’s film“Maternity Blues” the prize for best screenplay. The event was organised by the Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics, and included the screenings of 14 film produced or co-produced by Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Tunisia, Spain, Algeria, France, Slovenia, Albania and Italy. Syria was guest of honour with a series of its own films.
