Giacomo Puccini’s “Messa di Gloria”, conducted by Paolo Olmi, met with great success in Israel. The first performance, attended by Italian Ambassador Francesco Maria Talò, was held in the Heichal Hatarbut cultural centre in Rishon-LeZion. The second was staged in the opera house in Tel Aviv. Paolo Olmi was invited to Israel by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv and the Israeli Symphonic Orchestra of Rishon-LeZion.
