It was the poetry of Corrado Calabrò to launch the 12th annual Italian Language in the World Week in Prague. The former President of Agcom joined Vice President of the EBRD Jan Fischer in opening the cycle of events in the Baroque chapel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague. The evening included the presentation of the tri-lingual version of Calabrò’s latest collection “Una lama nel miele – Cepel v medu”, sponsored by the Institute and edited by Professor Zdenek Frybort, the historic Czech translator of the works of Umberto Eco, with the support of researcher Isaac Lee. Organised in collaboration with the Association of the Friends of Italy and the Prague committee of the Dante Alighieri Society, the event took place in the presence of Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Pasquale D’Avino and Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Prague Paolo Sabbatini.
