A concert to honour the American military personnel injured during missions abroad: “Wounded Warriors” is the title of the event being hosted at the Italian Embassy in Washington on 17 November 2012, Veteran’s Day. The concert has been organised by Finmeccanica.
Scientific symposium
The Embassy will also be hosting a scientific symposium on Global Health, organised in collaboration with the Department for Health and Social Services at Washington’s St. Elizabeth psychiatric hospital. The symposium, on 15-16 November 2012, will discuss mental health and will also touch on problems of this nature in the armed forces. Read more, in Italian.
