The “Premio Europa” for 2012 has been awarded to the President of Confindustria, Giorgio Squinzi. The award was set up by the Italian Initiative Group (GII) in Brussels, at the initiative of the Italian Embassy, to recognise those Italian and European institutions whose efforts on behalf of the industrial and business world have been particularly distinguished.
