A photographic exhibition will be held in Brazzavile, Republic of Congo, dedicated to Italo-French explorer Pietro Savorgnan di Brazza, who lived in the second half of the 19th century and for whom the capital city is named. The exhibition of 40 photos, taken by the explorer’s brother Giacomo, is entitled “The Savorgnan Saga, a journey in images”. Organised by the Embassy of Italy and the Savorgnan de Brazza Memorial, it runs from 9 March to 9 May.
