The Italian Cultural Institute of New York hosted a conference for the presentation to the press and public of the 55th Venice Art Biennale, set to run from June 1st through 24 November 2013.
After Institute Director Prof. Riccardo Viale’s welcome address, Biennale President Paolo Baratta and curator Massimiliano Gioni illustrated the theme of this year’s international exhibition, entitled “The Encyclopedic Palace”, to over 120 journalists, gallery dealers and artists from all over the tri-state area, in addition to the Institute’s usual audience.
