Croatia enters the EU – An Italian welcome with Caravaggio

Caravaggio’s masterpiece from 1606, The Supper at Emmaus, will be on loan for nearly three months to the Museum of Art and Crafts in Zagreb. The loan is being promoted by the Foreign Ministry and by the Italian Embassy in Croatia, with strong personal support from Ambassador Emanuela D’Alessandro. The painting, normally housed in the Brera Gallery in Milan, will be on display in Zagreb from 5 June until 31 August 2013, with the official opening taking place on 3 June. Read more, in Italian
