Zagreb – Guercino lights up EU ambassadors meeting in Croatia

The last coordination meeting for the European Union countries’ ambassadors to Croatia took place recently in Zagreb. The meeting took place in the Museum of Arts and Crafts, which until 31 January 2015 will host the exhibition entitled “Guercino: the Light of the Baroque”. Before the meeting, the Italian Ambassador to Croatia, Emanuela D’Alessandro, accompanied participants on a tour of the  Guercino exhibition.

Issues discussed at the ambassadors’ meeting include the Croatian position on further EU enlargement, the new European approach to Bosnia Herzegovina, the Middle East Peace Process and the Summit of Eastern European countries which took place in Belgrade on 16 and 17 December 2014. The Croatian deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Vesna Pusic, also attended the meeting.
