The newly installed Romanian president, Klaus Iohannis, was guest of honour at a concert by Mauro Maur which closed the celebrations in Romania for the Italian EU Presidency. Italian Ambassador Diego Brasioli and the director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Ezio Peraro, who promoted the concert, also attended.
