The Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles hosted the opening of an exhibition by photographer Giuseppe Leone on the beauty of the Sicilian landscape, where salt fields and lush Mediterranean vegetation are interspersed with archaeological sites that bear witness to an ancient culture. The show is part of the larger “Sicilia bedda” (beautiful Sicily) series being promoted throughout the U.S. for the Year of Italian Culture. Read more, in Italian.
