The Titian exhibition in Moscow, with opened at the Pushkin Museum on 26 June, is according to our ambassador to Moscow, Antonio Zanardi Landi, “enjoying a truly exceptional reception from the Russian public and media – the best in terms of quality and quantity for a cultural event in recent years, and which confirms the Russians’ keen interest in Italian Renaissance and Late Renaissance culture and art”.
Nearly 123,000 visitors in the first month
In its first 30 days, the exhibition registered nearly 123,000 visitors, compared with the 84,000 for the 2011 Caravaggio exhibition’s first month (that rose to 235,000 in its first 3 months). The Titan exhibition closes on 29 September.
