A new tourism-cultural itinerary featuring the painted monasteries of Bucovina, a historic region of Romania, will be explored on Radio Rai3 from 8 to 14 September 2013. The monasteries have been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. Sergio Valzania, Deputy Director of Radio Rai3, will be following the “Beech Road” in collaboration with Radio Romania. The initiative is supported by the Italian Ambassador in Bucharest, not least in light of its potential for sustainable tourism and development. Read more, in Italian.
