Turkey – Italian artists conquer Istanbul

All eyes are on Italian artist Margherita Moscardini whose installation “Istanbul City Hills. On the Natural History of Dispersion and States of Aggregation” for the XIII Bicentennial of Contemporary Art in Istanbul -received the acclaim of the Turkish critics. The piece has been chosen to become part of the permanent collection of Rome’s MAXXI museum and is fruit of the artist-in-residence programme held at Istanbul’s Palazzo Venezia on the initiative of the Italian embassy in Ankara. The exhibition is part of a series of others events collateral to the Biennial and sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Istanbul. Read more, in Italian
