Philippines – Italy sends typhoon aid to Red Cross

With the intention of providing humanitarian assistance to 100,000 families (500,000 persons) for 18 months, Italy made a new multilateral contribution of €350,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies following the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, which falls within its broader plan of one million euro in overall aid.
