Roberto Faenza’s film “Anita B.” was screened at the Jerusalem Film Archive yesterday, 26 January, to mark Remembrance Day. This was the first screening outside Italy of the film, based on Edith Bruck’s autobiographical book “Quanta stella c’è nel cielo”. Organised by the Italian Cultural Institute and its Director, Simonetta De Felicis, the screening was also attended by Italian Ambassador Francesco Maria Talò. The film was a success with the Israeli audience, who described it as “a new and moving way to deal with the experience of those who survived Auschwitz”.
