“Conserving Egyptian art. Training initiatives for the restoration of the Egyptian Museum of Cairo’s collections”. This is the title of the publication illustrating the training initiatives conducted by the Restoration and Conservation Institute from 2008 to 2010 thanks to Italian Development Cooperation funding. About 120 curators, restorers and librarians benefited from the programme, which also envisages a master-plan for Cairo’s Midan Tahrir museum. The initiative also extends to the Coptic Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation and the Textile Museum. Read more, in Italian.
