Italy’s Mauro Giaccahas been chosen to lead ICGEB, the international centre for genetic engineering and biotechnologies, headquartered in Trieste with branches in New Delhi and Cape Town. The 55-year-old former director of the organisation’s Italian component will,as of 31 December, replace the current director, Argentine Francisco Baralle. Read more, in Italian.
