Consul General in Jerusalem Davide La Cecilia and other European diplomats, led by EU Representative for the Territories and Gaza John Gatt Rutter, made a visit of condolence to the home of Hussein Abu Khdeir, father of Mohammad, the young Palestinian recently abducted and murdered.
“I carried the condolences of President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, the Italian government and Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini”, he reported. The encounter took place in the East Jerusalem suburb of Shufat where the Khdeir family live. On July 1st President Napolitano had extended his condolences to the families of the three young Israelis kidnapped and murdered.
