Canada – Italo Balbo’s trans-Atlantic flightthe focus of an exhibition in Montreal

To mark the 21st “Italian Week” in Montreal, the Canadian city is celebrating Italo Balbo’s famous trans-Atlantic flight in 1933 with a travelling exhibition entitled “Cieli e mari di Balbo”. The exhibition will open on 26 July 2014 in Orbetello, where Balbo’s journey began on 1 July 1933. From there it will transfer to Canada, where it will open on 10 August at the Casa d’Italia. The initiative was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Montreal, in collaboration with the Casa d’Italia Cultural Centre. Read more, in Italian.
