Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini stopped in Sarajevo on the first leg of a mission to the Balkans that will later take her to Pristina, Skopje and Tirana. The minister met in the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina with the three-member Presidency and her counterpart Zlatko Lagumdzija, and attended a conference promoted by the European Union for that Balkan country.
Mogherini expressed the hope that Bosnia would launch a reform process aimed at the development of growth and employment. The head of Italian diplomacy assured that the European Council was “ready to guide Bosnia is that process”.
