“La Grande Bellezza” is the film selected to open the 6th Italian Film Festival in Maputo this evening, 19 August 2014, at the city’s Teatro Avenida. The Festival, which runs until 23 August, is being organised with the collaboration of “Il Sorpasso”, an Italian arts organisation in Lisbon, with support from private sponsors. In coming weeks, the Festival will move to squares and public spaces throughout Maputo, with open-air screenings in the city’s poorer districts. Read more, in Italian.
