The 14th Asia-Europe Business Forum (AEBF14) opened today, 15 October 2014, at the Assolombarda offices in via Pantano, no. 9, in Milan. The event runs in tandem with the ASEM summit of European and Asian Heads of State and Government. Organised by Confindustria in collaboration with BusinessEurope, the organisation representing Europe’s main business associations, AEBF14 sees the participation of 300 European and Asian business leaders. The event is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and its diplomatic-consular network in Asia.
Key topics for this year’s Forum are the arrangements and instruments for the promotion of business relations between Europe and Asia, with the focus on sectoral analyses. Specific topics for discussion include free trade, food security, energy and infrastructure. Source: InfoMercatiEsteri.
