Copenhagen – Italian opera soloists in concert

Copenhagen’s prestigious Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek museum was the setting for a concert by soloists of Italian opera, who performed traditional selections, particularly from Verdi, in a musical offering that was the centrepiece of the local events planned in honour of the Italian EU Presidency. Nearly 500 guests included members of the accredited diplomatic corps, local authorities, Danish cultural and business institutions as well as representatives of co-sponsor Salini Impregilo, which is currently building a new line of the Danish city’s underground.
