An Italian business mission to Kazakhstan, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economic Development with Agenzia ICE and Confindustria, began yesterday. With a flow of exports equal to more than EUR 700 million (2013), Italy is the second largest European exporter to Kazakhstan after Germany, and sixth largest globally. This performance is led by mechanical equipment (43% of Italian exports to that country) and fashion (22.1%). The mission will conclude on 12 November.
