An exhibition entitled “Written in Italy” of Italian books translated into various languages comes to an end today. The exhibit has been itinerant and was in its third edition this year. Its aim is to underscore the socio-cultural significance of the Italian language, which, although it is spoken by only 70 million people in the world, is among the languages most appreciated and translated across the globe. Curator and journalist Davide Grittani chose nearly 300 books to represent at least 400 Italian authors and 40 languages. Read more, in Italian
