Panama – Italian-Panamanian Youth Orchestra presented at the Residence

The residence of the Italian Ambassador in Panama hosted a concert by the Conservatoire of Santa Cecilia at an event to present the Italian-Panamanian Youth Orchestra. Established under the Italy-Panama bilateral cultural collaboration agreement, the Orchestra will give its first performance in January 2015 in Panama. The evening at the residence also provided an opportunity to present other bilateral cultural initiatives planned for 2015 under the agreement and the “Year of Italy in Latin America”. Plans for 2015 were illustrated by the Italian Ambassador, Giancarlo Curcio; the director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Mariana Nunez; the director of the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Alfredo Santoloci; and Olga Sinclair, artist.
