Starting with the next academic year 2015/2016, the University of Douala will offer a degree course in Italian starting from the academic year 2015/2016, which was presented at an “Open House” event held during the 14th Italian Language Week. A total of 250 students attended the event, along with Italian cultural attaché Raffaella Anselmi, Deputy Honorary Consul in Douala and Pirelli Commercial Manager Mauro Battistella and Cameroon nationals Kouam Kgocka Valery and Pierre Nguassa Zoleko, Italian studies specialists both, who will teach in the programme.
