The need to revitalise infrastructure investment in Europe as a driver of growth. That was the theme of a workshop organised by the Italian Embassy in London and the Venice Port Authority, held at the Residence of Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano. The event included a presentation on the Venice Offshore-Onshore Transfer System, one of the projects designed to increase the capacity of the port itself and the related logistics system.
Overall, the project is worth 2.2 billion euro, with European and Italian funding planned to mobilise private capital. The overall goal is to enhance the role of the North Adriatic logistics platform to meet the growing demand for goods traffic in Central and Eastern Europe. Read more, in Italian
