Italy and its films have been a huge hit with Turkish cinema-goers. Seven films were featured during the 5th “Italian Cinema in Istanbul” season organised by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Istituto Luce Cinecittà. The initiative, which attracted over 1500 film-lovers, was supported by the Italian Embassy in Turkey and our Consulate General in Istanbul.
The films shown included “In grazia di Dio” di Edoardo Winspeare, “Smetto quando voglio” by Sidney Sibilia, “La mafia uccide solo d’estate” by and with Pif, “The Lack” by Jacopo Bedogni, “Perfidia” by Bonifacio Angius, “Incompresa” by Asia Argento and “Un ragazzo d’oro” by Pupi Avati.
